Apartments.com has launched a Rent for Life Sweepstakes promotion.

Over the course of the 12-week program — now through October 12 — Apartments.comwill randomly select one winner per week to receive free rent for a year, for a total of 12 winners.

Then at the conclusion of the sweepstakes, Apartments.com will randomly select and announce one winner to receive free rent for life.

Andrew Florance, founder and CEO of CoStar Group. “This sweepstakes is a fun and exciting way for renters to help other renters by providing authentic insights on rental properties while entering for a chance to win free rent.”

And, while the Rent for Life sweepstakes targets renters, the company hopes it will also have a positive impact on how property owners and managers leverage Apartments.com to generate new leads.

In support of the promotion, Apartments.com also launched a multi-platform advertising campaign, building on its ongoing marketing campaign featuring actor Jeff Goldblum as Brad Bellflower, the eccentric Silicon Valley Maverick behind the redesigned Apartments.com.

The East Village will have a starring role in the next season of Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing New York.

Nestseekers agent and star of the show, Ryan Serhant, told Brokers Weekly “We’re actually doing a lot in the East Village right now. My team has five projects (there).”

Serhant was taking a break from filming MDL at the Justin on East 81st Street, where he has listed the penthouse at $4.95 million.

The next season should be one for the books, with Serhant and co-stars Frederick Eklund and Louis Ortiz all amping up their personal life stories for the reality series.

Serhant just got engaged, Eklund is going to be a dad and Ortiz wants more of a social life.
