Jeffrey Donnelly and Ulrike Ahrens, formerly of DTZ, joined Colliers International’s Capital Markets division, as executive director and director, respectively. The two oversaw DTZ’s real estate investment banking group, but departed after the firm’s buyout of Cushman & Wakefield.

A senior vice president at DTZ since 2011, Donnelly previously served as a principal at Spectrum Capital Partners. Before that, he was a principal in two real estate private equity funds that invested in Russia and South Florida, and a senior executive with Emmes Asset Management. Ahrens previously worked in private baking and private wealth management at Deutsche Bank in Germany.

Matthew Polci is now a director at Mission Capital Advisors’ debt and equity group. Polci was previously a director at Ackman-Ziff, where he closed 72 transactions worth more than $3.5 billion in debt, mezzanine and joint venture equity financing. Before Ackman-Ziff, Polci worked as an associate with Avison Young in Toronto.

Engel & Völkers hired James Corcoran as director of finance at its North American headquarters at 430 Park Avenue. Corcoran previously held positions at Town Residential, Premier Relocation Solutions and Weichert Corporate Housing.

Law firm Goulston & Storrs named two new directors, Stephen Schweiger and Brian Cohen, at its New York office. Schweiger joined the firm from Riemer & Braunstein. He will serve as co-chair for Goulston & Storrs’ real estate capital markets/debt group. Cohen was previously at international law firm Foley & Lardner.

Cozen O’Connor expanded its New York real estate group, tapping Joseph Mascia as a member at its Midtown office at 277 Park Avenue. Mascia was previously special counsel at law firm Duane Morris and worked as an associate with several international law firms prior to that.

Jerold Dornbush joined Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel as a special counsel in real estate. Dornbush has been in real estate law for over 30 years, including 14 years as real estate partner for the New York City firm Dornbush Schaeffer Strongin & Venaglia.

Harry Bellew and Rory Newman joined DJK Residential at its Fifth Avenue headquarters. The two agents bring over 30 years of real estate experience to the firm. Bellew was previously the vice president of sales at RouteTrader. Newman recently worked as a property manager and sales agent at McDermott Realty.

Anthony Lolli, CEO of Brooklyn’s Rapid Realty, is engaged to Tereza Hakobyan, a model, actress and singer. The couple celebrated last month with a party in Hakobyan’s hometown of Yerevan, Armenia. Compiled by Adam Warner
