HAP Investments Promotes Andrea Lawrence to Deputy CEO | HAP

Lawrence, who has been with the company since 2013, will work with Co-Founder & CEO Eran Polack to plan, develop and manage the firm’s real estate portfolio.

HAP Investments has promoted Andrea Lawrence to deputy CEO & general counsel. In her new role, Lawrence will work together with Co-Founder & CEO Eran Polack to plan, develop and manage the company’s real estate portfolio, which consists of residential developments located primarily in the New York City metro area. At the same time, she will continue to handle all legal matters as general counselor, a position she’s held since 2013. Lawrence will be based in the firm’s headquarters in New York City.

During her career in real estate, which spans more than 20 years, Lawrence has handled a variety of real estate transactions and related commercial disputes. Her vast experience includes contract negotiation and drafting, acquisitions, dispositions and financings, corporate structuring, litigation strategy, risk management and dispute resolution. At HAP, she has advised on all the legal and commercial aspects of a development project.

Prior to working for her current employer, Lawrence was a partner at several law firms in the New York City area, specializing in commercial real estate litigation and transactions. She received her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
